The Victorian State Government Small Business COVID hardship fund offers $20,000 to eligible and medium businesses, including employing and non employing businesses and had been introduced to allow more businesses who had not previously received some of the Victorian Government grant programs announced from the 27 May 2021. Applications are open from Thursday 12 August 2021 until program funds are exhausted or 11:59pm on Friday 10 September 2021, whichever is earlier.
Step 1. Check to see if your eligible ASAP (Please refer to <https://business.vic.gov.au/grants-and-programs/small-business-covid-hardship-fund>) If you have received funding under any of the Victorian Government COVID-19 support packages on or after 27 May 2021 you are not eligible under this program.
Step 2. If eligible then choose how this is to be lodged (and lodge ASAP) by choosing one of the 3 methods below:

You can apply directly as a business owner and have the application verified by a qualified agent - LMP can do this - if you wish for us to do prepare this then please contact us ASAP 3.Business owners can register their interest for the program via the following link <https://business.vic.gov.au/grants-and-programs/small-business-covid-hardship-fund/invitation-to-apply-non-qualified-agent>. Please note with this option it may take up to 25 days to process due to additional verification measures.
