After completing a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting in 1993 Merinda worked in various accounting roles in medium to large businesses for around 10 years. After a period of family leave and bookkeeping for the family business as well as various volunteer positions Merinda took up contract bookkeeping and gained exposure to various accounting packages and procedures and completed roles ranging from accounts payable and receivable to payroll through to BAS reporting.
Early in 2019 Merinda made the move to public practice bookkeeping and joined LMP in a part time capacity. Her specialties are small business bookkeeping and payroll as well as helping clients set up and work with their accounting software.
As a small business owner herself Merinda is empathetic to the demands on current day small businesses and aware of the importance of work life balance. Merinda resides in Montrose with her family.
